The three settings include a balanced sound, a warm sound, and a tight sound, and can be adjusted using the included flathead screwdriver. The warm setting emphasizes the lows while retaining treble extension, the tight setting focuses on the treble and mids with a more articulate bass, and the balanced setting is just that, with no emphasis in either direction. BUILD QUALITY & ACCESSORIES

The triple balanced-armature driver brings excellent soundstage, imaging, and instrument separation, while the clear, ergonomic housing offers a peek at the the IEM’s inner workings. Plus, the over-ear cable is complete with shrink-wrapped plastic material that can be easily adjusted for comfort during long listening sessions. For sonic enjoyment right out of the box, the Velvet comes with six pairs of silicone ear tips (a mix of sizes and single- and double-flange styles), along with a quarter-inch adapter, a zippered carrying case, and more.
