Top-Tier Performance Foundation

To allow headphones to simultaneously express emotion and resolving power, the driver must deliver high-performance capability. This is precisely why the A6000’s stainless-steel encapsulated brass driver was created. Equipped with f-Core DU copper-clad aluminum voice coil wire (CCAW), the driver provides excellent transient response. The edge of the diaphragm is bonded directly to the housing, preventing the entire driver unit from vibrating and compromising performance. This design also fully utilizes the 6mm driver diameter, achieving an excellent balance of spatial sense, detail, and low-frequency quantity.

It further emulates the design of the flagship A8000, in which the driver is mounted directly onto the stainless-steel housing. This not only enhances resonance suppression but also brings the driver’s sound emission point closer to the nozzle, enabling more efficient sound transmission. After achieving excellent transient response and stability, final adds a dedicated acoustic component to the rear chamber of the driver.

This speaker-like design uses specialized ducts and filters to regulate the rate of internal air pressure release within the dynamic driver chamber. It realizes ideal diaphragm movement, delivering top-tier performance while also imparting a warm and smooth tonal character to the headphones.

Rich Tonal Balance

Unlike the eight-strand single-crystal copper cable used in the standard A6000, which pursues a warm and smooth tone, the A6000 Special Edition is equipped with a dedicated cable woven from 6 cores of single-crystal copper and 6 cores of silver-plated copper. This allows the headphones to fully unleash their already outstanding performance, simultaneously achieving both resolving power and emotional expression.

Presenting Delicate Texture

The housing of the A6000 SE adopts the iconic three-point support design of the A series to distribute wearing pressure. In terms of appearance, a matte coating is applied with a subtle addition of silver powder, emitting a understated yet elegant metallic sheen under different lighting conditions. This allows the delicate texture of the sound quality to also be expressed visually and tactilely.

Packaging Design with Vintage Charm

When designing the outer packaging of the headphones, final also employs the aesthetic design language previously used in the Piano Forte and Heaven series. The overall packaging is based on pink and white Japanese washi paper as the primary foundation for both visual and tactile experience. From the moment the user touches the outer box, its warm, refined, and vintage texture fully conveys the sincere and natural character exclusive to these headphones.

Inside the box is an exclusive thank-you card. The oil-paper bag packaging, in both texture and pattern, references the design of final’s past showroom packaging, infusing half a century of belief and sincerity toward sound into every detail.
