In terms of driver architecture, Campfire Audio breaks its own tradition by adopting a groundbreaking 10 balanced-armature configuration:

At the same time, while maintaining the brand’s signature crossover-less design, Campfire sought to infuse a warm, vintage flavor. They achieved this through extremely rare capacitor tuning on an all-BA setup. The team acquired stocks of long-discontinued vintage capacitors and, through exhaustive manual pairing with modern ceramic capacitors, developed proprietary vintage-ceramic hybrid capacitors. This unique combination blends the high detail density of ceramic caps with the organic warmth of vintage ones, giving the all-BA configuration a lush, naturally warm signature.
Although Andromeda 10 heralds a new era, it inherits Campfire’s legendary Solid Body acoustic labyrinth internal structure, suppressing unwanted driver resonance and focusing sound energy into a single cohesive point for superior presence and imaging. The patented T.A.E.C. (Tuned Acoustic Expansion Chamber) further extends high-frequency airiness and soundstage.
